AI spec-sample drops for the promo-distributor long tail — a working mockup
What you're looking at: the flagship play from the promo-segment strategy, mocked up end-to-end for three real Div V distributors. Everything on this page was assembled by the proposed pipeline, not by hand: the purchase profiles come from live A2000 order history, the logos were scraped from each distributor's public website, and the product images are real Nano Banana 2 renders (Gemini gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview — the same model behind merchcraft-gen and the ghost-mannequin pipeline) of their logo embroidered onto the MV products they actually buy — plus the one they don't, yet.
Segment context: 1,402 promo distributors · $8.10M · 13,091 orders since Jan 1 2025. The long tail below the top-100 accounts holds ~$3.1M and gets no rep coverage — this is what covering it with AI looks like.
How each drop is assembled
A2000 order lines pick the account, its hero product/colors, and the cross-sell gap (the family it has never bought). Already snapshotted for all 1,402 accounts.
Email domain → website scrape (og:image / header logo). pod-image-service-style checks reject bad pulls so no account gets an embarrassing render.
Nano Banana 2 composites the logo onto the real shopmvsport.com product photo as embroidery. Auto-QA regenerates failures — for this page it caught dropped logo lettering and aspect-ratio drift (fixed by pinning
imageConfig.aspectRatio) before any render shipped.Copy is written from the account's own numbers; every image carries a DYO-style ref code (the
dyo_designs mechanism) so a reply converts straight to an order — including through the SAGE inbox flow.The economics of covering the whole tail
Suggested pilot: 100 accounts (50 one-time buyers + 50 low-frequency actives) vs a matched holdout; measure second-order rate and cross-family attach at 60 days. Every component above already exists in-house: the segment snapshots (this task), the DYO ref-code mechanism, the mockup pipelines, Klaviyo delivery. It's a wiring exercise.
